昨晩迄の若い黒蟻たちの群れによる騒動が嘘のやうな土曜の朝。彼らは昨晩11時に警察本部包囲から一先ず撤退するか残留するかの意思決定が必要となりスマホのSNS用ゐて多数の意見を問ひ！大方の意思が撤退であつたため解散となり未明までに大方が家路についたといふ。警察側も夜中３時すぎに15時間、警察本部に籠城させられた警官、職員らが警察本部を出る。今朝５時前に警察が公式見解を発表。

「警方已經以最大的容忍度讓示威者在警察總部外集結，但示威者表達訴求的方式已經發展到既不合法，且不合情理的程度。對於這些違法行為，警方必定會嚴肅跟進」と、そりゃ警方にしてみれば堪忍袋の緒が切れるのを耐へるに耐へ、の侮辱に対する我慢。元々は612の黒蟻群に対する過剰な弾圧がいけなかつたのだが……。夜明け。香港警察本部の周囲だけが抗議活動ではいつものやうにゴミはひとつもないが警察の建物だけが汚されてゐる。
蘋果日報よりも赤紙『大公報』の方が昨日の騒動、詳細をレイアウトまで見事にまとめてゐる。
この紙面見たら香港は混乱の極みで市民の外出すら厭はれるやう（笑）。その大公報に元香港警察処長・李明逵が香港警察の武力行使につき援護の弁。
歴代の華人処長のなかでは最も秀才で現在、香港公共行政学院（中共・国家行政学院下部機構）の院長。当然、官方だが警察の治安と武力行使に関する原則論、技術論としては指摘に間違いなし。もし本当に香港政府の執法機構がこの刑事原則だけで管制をしてゐるのなら問題ないのだがDQや記者へのビザ発給拒否などイデオロギー、しそうに踏み込んだ処罰の域に踏み込んでゐるのが事実。その上で李の問題は「その逃亡犯引き渡しの相手（中共）がどれだけ人権や法治が乏しい一党独裁の国か」といふ周知の事実で、それについて一切、視点なきこと。同じ大公報に香港検察の元首席検察官の逃亡犯条例改正擁護も「正論」として読んでおくべきテキスト。
逃亡犯条例改正が悪で、反対が善と安易に割り切るべきではない。たゞ必要なことは人権と法治が守られるかどうか、ということ。その「法治」もやはり〈赤方〉には理解が六ッかしいやう。
無知の極み。警察本部包囲が法治を破壊するのではない。警察本部包囲した市民を不当に弾圧したら法治が崩壊なのだ。
土曜日の朝でいつものやうにFCCでトマトジュース飲みながら新聞読んでゐると報道チャンネルが生中継で不人気な律政司・鄭若驊が現れる。
何かと思へば改めて「就修例工作不足引起社會矛盾和紛爭真誠致歉」である。昨日、謝罪はプレスリリースで出したが本人出てこぬ無愛想に更に顰蹙かひ不承不承現れたか。黒服？とあばらかべっそんだが真摯に謝罪に非ず司法年度期初の法曹界行事に参加のフォーマルウェアゆゑ。

China’s leader, Xi Jinping, has a stark choice. He can keep Hong Kong’s political system as it is and carry on trying to stifle the freedoms that Hong Kongers otherwise enjoy. The result would be more protests and probably more violence. Businesspeople would become more jittery, and Hong Kong’s reputation as a safe base from which to trade with the mainland would be at risk.

Or Mr Xi can offer Hong Kong hope again, by setting out a timetable for real democratic reform. “We have to have the confidence that Hong Kong people can manage Hong Kong well,” goes a mantra of China’s leaders. It is time to let its people try.

Under China’s president, Xi Jinping, the ruling Communist Party has increasingly tried to exert control over Hong Kong, which has its own laws, independent courts and news outlets, as well as a vocal community of pro-democracy activists and lawmakers. On Friday, Albert del Rosario, a former Philippine foreign secretary who accused Mr. Xi of crimes against humanity in an international court, told The Associated Press by telephone that he had flown to Hong Kong for a business meeting but was blocked by immigration officers from entering, in what he described as an act of harassment.

It is hard to see how Ms Lam, with her limited interpersonal and political skills, can recover from this month’s setback and finally win the trust of the millions of people who have marched against her. At best she will be able to serve out the rest of her first term as a lame duck; it would be too embarrassing for Mr Xi to lose his handpicked chief executive so soon. But serving a second five-year term would require a Lazarus-like political resurrection for the devout Catholic.
“When Carrie was secretary for development, she was never afraid to confront angry protesters in person,” says Mr Tsang. “This time, because the situation is so fiery, it would not be a wise thing for her to do.”

「現場」である組織で防御用品の配給行つてをりアタシは最前線の活動家ではなく一介の物好きな市民なのだが折角なので記念にいたゞく。ヘルメットはKOREL製。香港ではよく見かけるところ元々は1983年に土耳古で創立した会社で今世紀に入り製造拠点を中国に移し香港が本社機能の由。アイマスクとマスクは3M謹製。アタシは高校の正門で過激派による成田闘争参加呼びかけのオルグなどあつた世代だが、まさか老いてこの齢となり抵抗運動のヘルメットとマスクを手にするとは。
銅鑼湾のTimes Square前を歩いてゐたら何処からか安全地帯の「悲しみにさよなら」が聴こえてきて素人の卡拉OKのやうで日本語もお上手。続けて「碧い瞳のエリス」も聴こえてきて、こんな場所で卡拉OK場の音が漏れるはずもなし……と思つたらTimes Square向かひのビルのバルコニーで男性が幼子抱いての歌唱である。
この建物、この一等地で再開発免れてゐる古い雑居ビルで数年前迄、銅鑼湾で銅鑼湾書店と並ぶ中共反体制の書店＆カフェ「人民公社」が1/Fに入つてゐたが、その楼上にこのカフェ。この歌唱が卡拉OK騒音とされず、かういふ長閑で悠長な空気はすばらしいと思ふ。
