五月十日（土）ランニングクラブで数名集り曇空の朝、Bowen Roadを歩いたり走つたり。かつては毎週末のやうに走つたBowen Rdもかなり久々なのは華懋集團の総帥・龔如心女史逝去で遺産相続巡り「謎の風水師」の存在顕わとなり話題となつたが昨年07年４月。Bowen Rd 16號にひつそりと位置する謎の豪邸はかねがねアタシも気にはなつてゐたが、それがその風水師・陳某邸。晩に緑と白のアスパラ、茄子のマリネ、ソーセージとチーズで葡萄酒は新西蘭のMud HouseのSauv Blの06年。食後にアルフォンソ・マンゴー食す。
▼FT紙の週末版にKrystian Zimermanのインタビュー掲載あり（Shirley Apthorpによる）。健啖家でないツィメルマンであるから興味深く氏の語るところを読む。「良い音」が究極のやうに思はれるが良い音より寧ろ醜くとも、その時の自分の感情に正直な音を、と。楽曲も全てが「美しさ」の追求に非ず。
Actually over the past few years, I have been moving away from sound. On one hand I'm very flattered that people like the sound of my piano. On the other hand I don't care about the sound. I'm looking for an adequate sound. If the piece is ugly, I want an ugly sound. I want the sound to do what I want, not to be beautiful. I've seen pianos like that. I sat down, the piano was beautiful, and the moment I wanted to change something, the piano was still beautiful, and I hated it - because the piano didn't listen to what I wanted to do. My piano is incredibility flexible. It almost dreams with me in the concert. I have an idea, and I don't even have to verbalise or to think how to do it. The piano reads it directly from my soul.
なんだか茶の作法の神髄のやうな、一期一会でピアノとの対峙か。ピアニストといへばNHKにフヂ子＝ヘミングさんがインタビューに答へてゐたさうで（司会者泣かせの）御神託の如き突然の発言続き「なかなか絶妙」とＺ嬢。フジ子さんにしてみれば最近のピアニストはメロディーを歌つてゐない由。
